The company was founded more than a quarter of a century ago by Colin Seid and Richard Gabriel and remains privately-held today.

Over the past 30 years, the company has purchased and developed Multifamily, Residential, Retail, Office, Medical Office and Hotel assets in the western United States:

            Multifamily – developed over 4,800 units

            Residential – developed over 6,000 single family homes

            Retail/Office – developed or purchased over 2 million square feet

            Medical/Office – developed or purchased over 500,000 square feet

            Purchased and managed over 2 million square feet of office

ColRich’s principle joint venture partner, Resmark, is CALPERS fund advisor. The Principals of both companies have been working together for over 18 years on transactions in excess of $1.0 billion. In August 2004, ColRich formed a new joint venture, ColRich Residential LLC with Resmark Equity Partners with the sole intent of converting apartment projects to condominiums.
